The Leeds United defender arrived with no fanfare, and with some of his teammates announcing their imminent departures, could he follow?

Remember when Leeds United signed French defender Amadou Haidara?
No one would blame you if you don’t. After all, the now-23-year-old arrived through the proverbial backdoor at Elland Road, with no official announcement, and with a first-team breakthrough as far away as ever he could well follow the likes of Jack Vann and Billy Whitehouse out the door this summer.
The latter two players recently confirmed their summer exits, but given the mystery surrounding Haidara’s time at Leeds, could he disappear without a word?
It would certainly fit the circumstances, with Haidara’s arrival one of the most baffling side-notes in Massimo Cellino’s time at the club.

Leeds were quick to announce any news regarding Vann and Whitehouse during the time at Elland Road. But Haidara is a different prospect, and despite a few appearances for the club’s under-23s this season, he has done little to justify a prolonged stay in Yorkshire.
If Vann cannot get a new contract, Haidara certainly does not warrant one.
Just do not be surprised if he vanishes in similar fashion to his arrival, with few knowing the details aside from himself.
