Both Crystal Palace and Newcastle need a new goalkeeper, but it looks unlikely to be Alphonse Areola as he continues to impress at PSG.

Paris Saint-Germain may have been 4-0 winners at Anderlecht on Wednesday, but much of the post-match praise focused on goalkeeper Alphonse Areola.
While Areola has yet to concede in three Champions League games as PSG have cruised to the top of their group, he had to be at his best to keep out the Belgian side.
The Frenchman made a series of key saves with the score at 1-0, giving his high-profile team-mates the platform to go on and win the game.

If there were doubts about Areola heading into the season, they are beginning to dissipate now as he becomes a key member of the PSG team.
And that could well represent a blow to Premier League pair Crystal Palace and Newcastle United, who were both interested in Areola in the summer – per The Sun.
Wayne Hennessey – in the Palace goal – and Newcastle’s Rob Elliot have both endured poor starts to the season, with links to Areola persisting throughout recent months.

The PSG man recently took to Twitter to play down talk of a move – insisting, “rumours about my future are totally unfounded” – and such a transfer certainly looks unlikely now.
A hugely talented goalkeeper, Palace look to have missed the boat on Areola as he has won round Unai Emery at the Parc des Princes.
