Leeds United are still on the hunt for a new manager, following Garry Monk’s departure from Elland Road.

With the uncertainty over who will become Leeds United’s next manager growing by the day, it could be that a left-field appointment is on the cards at Elland Road.
Leeds initially were linked with Aitor Karanka, but the Spaniard is no longer believed to be on Andrea Radrizzani’s wishlist.
And the betting markets have fluctuated hugely, since the news that Karanka will not be taking over at Leeds broke.
Garry Monk’s assistant manager, Pep Clotet, is currently the favourite to become the next Leeds’ boss.

But Radrizzani has kept his plans under wraps, with the managerial picture at Leeds far from clear.
It could be that Radrizzani has someone in mind, and it may not be beyond the realms of possibility that Alejandro Sabella could come on to his radar.
Sabella was first linked with the Leeds manager’s job in 2014, and the 62-year-old’s words then suggested that a move to Leeds would interest him.

He said to Sky Sports at the time: “The Leeds situation is intriguing, and I feel I have unfinished business with that club.”
Sabella represented Leeds for one season during his playing career, and he has the managerial credentials to be an attractive appointment for a Championship club.
Sabella’s managerial experience first came with Estudiantes, before he took over Argentina’s national team for three years.
And if Sabella has submitted his CV to Radrizzani, it would not be a major surprise if his name has caught the Italian owner’s eye.
