West Bromwich Albion are in need of more attackers and Ayoze Perez could be the answer to their problems.
Alan Pardew is expected to be named West Bromwich Albion manager imminently.
West Bromwich Albion are set to name Alan Pardew as their new manager to replace Tony Pulis as reported in the Sun.
Pardew is expected to be in charge for the Baggies’ weekend game against his former club Crystal Palace.
The transfer window will open in just over a month and Pardew will want to bring in his own players to the Hawthorns. It’s expected Albion will adopt a more expansive style under the 56-year-old so a forward is likely to arrive and that could be Ayoze Perez.
The Spaniard was brought to England by Pardew in 2014 when he was managing Newcastle. Perez scored five goals under Pardew before he left to takeover at Palace.

The former West Ham boss has played a huge part in the 24-year-old’s development and showed great faith in him. Perez has netted a total of 26 goals in English football. He’s quick and versatile as he can be deployed out wide as well.
Albion have lacked pace up front this season, despite the addition of Jay Rodriguez. Perez can not only offer that but he can also run the channels and run in behind which could compliment Salomon Rondon’s style very well.

Perez has started 10 of Newcastle’s 13 games this season but he’s scored just once and created just the one goal. He has a good relationship with Pardew and a fresh challenge could be appealing to him while he’ll offer more West Brom a pacy attacking option which is something they’ve desperately lacked.
If Newcastle reenforce the attacking areas in January, Perez may be someone who is allowed to leave.
