Leeds United signed Adam Forshaw from Middlesbrough in the January transfer window.
Adam Forshaw struggled for playing time in the first half of the season at Middlesbrough and was clearly not rated highly by the club’s then head coach Garry Monk.
The 26-year-old himself suggested to GazzetteLive that the competition for places in the midfield at Boro under Monk was unhealthy (click here to read more), and it did not come as a surprise to see him join Championship rivals Leeds United in the January transfer window.
The former Everton midfielder’s time at Leeds so far has not exactly been great as a team, but on a personal level he has shown enough to suggest that he will be a key player for the Whites in the coming months.

With the West Yorkshire outfit challenging for a place in the top six of the Championship this season, Forshaw could be the most important player in that quest.
The former Wigan Athletic and Brentford midfielder knows the Championship inside out, and his performances for Leeds so far have been encouraging.
Forshaw was arguably Leeds’s best midfielder against Sheffield United at the weekend, as he played some good passes and was comfortable on the ball during the Championship game last Saturday afternoon.
The midfielder has already settled into life at Leeds, and he can only get better in the coming weeks and his influence is only going to increase.
