When it comes to this evening, Real would surely rather have Davinson Sanchez at their disposal to try and shut out prolific frontman Harry Kane, than be without.

The Sun reported in August that Sanchez was on Real Madrid’s radar, but they appear to have taken their eye off the ball.

It could turn out to be a costly miss for them, with their need for a young, powerful central defender even greater than their requirements to add a prolific striker.
