West Ham United appear to be closing in on Fabian Balbuena.

Corinthians have offered a farewell tweet to defender Fabian Balbuena as his move to West Ham United looks to be drawing ever closer.
The Hammers have already brought in one central defender this summer in Frenchman Issa Diop from Toulouse, but another centre back has been on Manuel Pellegrini’s wish list.
A host names have been linked, including Armando Izzo, Craig Dawson and Alfie Mawson, but West Ham now appear to be closing in on a surprise signing in the heart of defence.
Reports in South America broke on Friday that West Ham had agreed a deal with Corinthians for defender Fabian Balbuena, and that move appears to be getting closer.
Balbuena, 26, made his name in his native Paraguay with Cerro Porteno, Rubio Nu, Nacional and Libertad before heading to Brazil with Corinthians in 2016.
The 6ft 2in centre back has made more than 100 appearances for Corinthians, hitting 11 goals, whilst he has also picked up six Paraguay caps, with West Ham now pushing for a surprise signing.

Corinthians communicated on their official website that an agreement has been reached with West Ham for Balbuena’s transfer, and they have now taken to Twitter to say farewell to their star defender.
Corinthians appear to be 100% sure that Balbuena’s move won’t have any late hitches as they say thank you and goodbye, and it’s somewhat rare for clubs to send such messages before a deal has been officially completed – but West Ham now appear to be closing in on their latest target.
