The future of Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has been a major story throughout transfer deadline day.
The England international has been told by the Gunners he can head out on loan from the club in search of first-team football after slipping down the pecking order at The Emirates.
The three teams who emerged as the main candidates to sign the player today have been AFC Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and AS Roma.
The interest of the former team certainly piqued the interest of Leeds United fans.

The Yorkshire club saw their star midfielder Lewis Cook, a similar player to Wilshere, join Bournemouth this summer.
Wilshere’s arrival will undoubtedly give Cook some trouble getting in the Bournemouth first-team.
Leeds fans, who do not have much ill-feeling toward their former talent, reacted to the news on Twitter.
Many of the Elland Road faithful were hoping that perhaps this move might see Bournemouth loan Cook back to Leeds. Others, they suggested that Cook might be able to teach the Arsenal star a thing or two.
As it happens, a Bournemouth player does seem to be on his way to Leeds – Eunan O’Kane.
