Leeds United beat Fulham 3-0 in Championship action last night.
Leeds United trio Lewis Cook, Giuseppe Bellusci and Liam Cooper all took to Twitter to celebrate the Whites’ 3-0 victory over Fulham last night.
Leeds comfortably beat Kit Symons’ side, with goals from Sam Byram, Sol Bamba and Mirco Antenucci providing the Yorkshire side with victory.
It was an important three points which means that Leeds continued their impressive run of form since the turn of the year.
Neil Redfearn’s men appeared to be in danger of falling into a relegation fight, but they have climbed away from bottom-three and are now safely positioned in mid-table.
Although their chances of making the play-offs look very slim, optimism is increasing for next season, where Leeds will be hoping to mount a promotion push.
Their display against Fulham, despite the scoreline, was actually not the most convincing, but their ruthlessness in front of goal was hugely impressive.
Fulham had numerous chances throughout the matches, but they could not take them, and in the end Leeds strolled to success.
It was a victory which obviously pleased the squad, with three of their players celebrating soon after the match on Twitter.
