Some Everton fans believe that Niels Nkounkou should be converted into a left-winger by Carlo Ancelotti.

Nkounkou was brought to Everton earlier this summer with very little fan-fare, but he is quickly turning into one of their most exciting prospects.

The rapid full-back has looked a real star on both his first-team appearances so far, and he shows great attacking skill from full-back.

Nkounkou helped Everton to a 5-2 win over Fleetwood Town last night, and he once again was one of their most dangerous offensive threats.

The youngster possesses a great amount of skill, pace and seems to have some excellent delivery in the final third.

And Everton fans think that he could actually be an excellent left-winger, given his skill-set.

If Nkounkou was converted to become a winger, his task of breaking into Everton’s team may be slightly easier.

The problem for Nkounkou is that Lucas Digne plays at left-back for the Toffees and getting in ahead of him well be tough.

Digne is one of the best left-backs in the Premier League, but Nkounkou is giving him real competition for his place now.
