Ryan Jack put in an impressive performance at Ibrox as Rangers progressed in the Europa League.

Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack delivered a crucial reminder of how important he can be with a terrific performance against Osijek.
Jack has been a controversial figure at Rangers since his switch from Aberdeen in 2017 which upset fans of his former club.
His debut season at Rangers began with a flurry of red cards which saw him heavily criticised by pundits and opposition fans, before his season was cut short by being on the receiving end of a bad tackle.
Back at full fitness, Jack has battled to the forefront of new boss Steven Gerrard’s plans, seeing off new signings and young pretenders.
Last night against Osijek, Jack was excellent, playing with the right balance of aggression and discipline.

He pressed when not in possession, and was measured when he did have the ball, playing like a veteran in central midfield.
The 26-year-old has laid down a marker for the season ahead in terms of the performance he needs to emulate.
If he can carry this on into the league and show consistency, Jack can be a vital player for manager Steven Gerrard in the season ahead.
