Some Tottenham fans on social media are absolutely buzzing after it was reported that they’re in advanced talks with AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.
Indeed, Gazetta Dello Sport and notable journalist Rudy Galetti both state that Spurs are in advanced talks with the midfielder, while Galetti says that an agreement between the two parties is close.
Spurs have been linked with the Ivorian for some time now, and he’s certainly a player that Fabio Paratici will know well from his time in Italy.
Kessie may relish the prospect of playing under Antonio Conte at Spurs and fans are incredibly excited by the prospect of the Milan ace coming to north London.
This is a new era at Tottenham and this would undoubtedly be a statement signing if they can get it over the line.
Whether or not Kessie joins Spurs remains to be seen, but if he does join, it would certainly be a welcomed addition amongst the Tottenham fanbase.
