It’s the dawning of a new era at Tottenham Hotspur.
Antonio Conte will take charge of his first game as Spurs boss on Thursday evening in the Europa Conference League and this represents a great chance for him to set the tone for his reign.
The Italian will undoubtedly want to start with a win, but let’s not forget that the Conference League isn’t Spurs’ priority right now.
Indeed, this competition has always represented a chance for Spurs to rotate their team and rest key players, but with Conte taking charge of his first match, we have to imagine that he’ll want to get a proper look at his squad.
With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Spurs’ starting XI for this one.

We think that Conte will make five changes from the last team Nuno Espirito Santo fielded during his tenure.
The patented 3-4-3 formation could be unleashed here, and we think that Conte will field a strong XI.
Pierluigi continues his role as being Spurs’ cup goalkeeper, while we also could see a back three of Ben Davies, Cristian Romero and Japhet Tanganga.
Sergio Reguilon and Emerson Royal start as wing-backs, while Tanguy Ndombele partners Oliver Skipp in midfield.
Conte will be desperate for Harry Kane to play himself into a bit of form, so he starts up top, while he is flanked by Heung-Min Son and Steven Bergwijn.
