Gary Lineker has praised Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte on Twitter after the match against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at Anfield.
Tottenham have played out a 1-1 draw with Liverpool away from home at Anfield in the Premier League this afternoon.
Former Tottenham striker and MOTD presenter Lineker was following the match, and he was impressed by the football from Spurs and has praised head coach Conte after the final whistle.

In our opinion, Tottenham played well against Liverpool and have deservedly picked up a point from the game at Anfield.
Yes, there were issues defensively in the first half, but Tottenham were brilliant in the second half.
Conte’s gameplan against Liverpool worked.
Liverpool are a far superior team – on paper anyway – to Tottenham and were also playing at home.
The Reds were the clear favourites.
So, we have to give huge credit to Tottenham and to Conte.
The result means that Tottenham are very much in the running for the Premier League top four, but North London rivals Arsenal will probably now consider themselves as favourites.
