Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been reacting to Dilan Markanday’s latest performance for the U23s.
Markanday now has 10 goals in 10 games for the U23s in the PL2 so far this term, and, as you can imagine, Spurs fans have taken notice of his fine form.
Spurs fans have been calling for him to get a chance in the first-team, and with Antonio Conte now in charge, the Italian may want to shake things up in north London.
It’s fair to say that Spurs’ frontline has been rather flat this season, and if that continues in the coming weeks, Markanday may be a player that Conte wants to turn towards.
The 20-year-old is certainly doing everything he can to catch Conte’s eye, and if he is to get a first-team chance, that would certainly be a popular move in the eyes of the fanbase.
