Some Manchester United fans on social media have been reacting after Spurs were linked with a move for the defender Eric Bailly.
Antonio Conte reportedly wants two centre-backs through the door at Tottenham in January and Bailly is apparently a player he is keen on.
As you can imagine, United fans had plenty to say about this rumour and their response was a mixture of excitement and bewilderment.
Bailly hasn’t been a consistent performer for United ever since he joined the club in 2016, so many Red Devils supporters are seemingly more than happy to see him leave.

However, some Spurs fans simply can’t understand why Conte wants Bailly.
It has to be said Conte has consistently done Manchester United favours when it comes to helping them shift some of their perceived deadwood.
The likes of Matteo Darmian, Ashley Young and Alexis Sanchez have all been snapped up by Conte when United have looked to get rid, and it seems as though he may repeat that trick with the Ivorian.
