Things are pretty good at Tottenham Hotspur right now.
Spurs beat Brentford on Thursday night to move two points behind fourth-placed West Ham United.
And remember, Antonio Conte’s side also have a game in hand due to their Burnley trip being postponed last weekend.
Yep, things are going well for Conte in North London.
And the Italian has even more good news for Lilywhites fans.
Spurs have been missing a creative spark pretty much all season, though. They’ve been missing penetration from midfield.
Giovani Lo Celso can provide that but he hasn’t played for Tottenham in almost a month due to injury.
However, Conte has revealed that he’ll be back in full training from next week.
He told Football London: “Giovani, I think after the Norwich game, will be ready to start again training sessions with us.”
Good news
This is a big boost.
Tottenham have eight more games across all competitions during the month of December and rotation will be key for Conte.
And with Tanguy Ndombele sort of out in the cold, and Spurs not creating much as mentioned, Lo Celso could genuinely be a big player when he’s fit again.
