Antonio Conte is ‘considering’ the option of unleashing Ivan Perisic in an attacking role for Tottenham Hotspur this evening, according to a journalist.
Conte’s side are gearing up for a difficult visit to Manchester United and, should they win, Spurs would go only one point behind top-of-the-table Arsenal.
Problem is, Tottenham have a number of injury concerns.
Richarlison is definitely absent after coming off injured on Saturday evening against Everton, while the visit to Old Trafford may come too soon for Dejan Kulusevski.

They’re both wingers and according to journalist Dean Jones, Conte could use Perisic – who earns £178,000 per week in North London – in a more attacking role against the Red Devils tonight.
He told Give Me Sport: “I think it’d be a great idea, and I think he is considering doing that. It makes a lot of sense. “
What a wonderful addition Perisic has been by Conte.
The Croatia international is well known by the Tottenham manager after managing him at Inter Milan previously.
And to snap up a player like this on a free transfer, for absolutely nothing, is a sublime piece of business.
Despite being 33, Perisic is a very important first-team member at Spurs and if he does play in a different role at United tonight, best believe he’ll give a minimum of seven-out-of-10 because, well, that’s simply what he does, produce.
