Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is seemingly set to loan out Conor Shaughnessy to Hearts.
Leeds United defender Conor Shaughnessy’s departure appears to have been confirmed on Instagram by Hearts man David Vanecek on Instagram.
Leeds were expected to loan out Shaughnessy in the near future, but Vanecek appears to have inadvertently beaten the club to the official announcement.
Vanecek posted a video on Instagram with Leeds defender Shaughnessy’s name clearly visible on a locker in the dressing room.
Vanecek, himself, has only just signed for Hearts and it seems that Shaughnessy will follow him shortly after.
Shaughnessy is expected to arrive on loan from Leeds, with the young defender not featuring much for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season.
The young defender was expected to play a covering role at Elland Road this season, but he has only made just one appearance in the EFL Cup.
Bielsa has not written off Shaughnessy’s chances when asked about him in press conferences though, so Leeds are likely to be tracking his progress closely.
