Conor McGregor has found a new way to look back on one of the toughest moments of his fighting career.
Michael Chandler remains focused on being the one to welcome McGregor back into the Octagon later this year, a return that would be one of the most anticipated in recent memory.
The buzz around the UFC’s White House event has only added to the feeling that McGregor’s comeback is actually going to happen.
Still, it has been six years since his last win in the UFC, something he acknowledged not long before 2026 kicked off.
He has spoken about his last appearance inside the Octagon, sharing his thoughts in a video that gave fans a more personal look at how he sees things now.
Conor McGregor’s charity work mirrors the moment fans last saw him in the Octagon

The third fight between McGregor and Dustin Poirier was halted in the first round when ‘The Notorious’ sustained a significant leg injury.
That night ended with memorable images of an angry post-fight interview from McGregor, still processing what had just happened.
Joe Rogan later said he felt McGregor should have pulled out of the fight, given what we learned afterwards about the injuries he was already dealing with.
Rogan sat on the Octagon floor with the Irishman during those chaotic scenes at UFC 264 in 2021.
The fighter has since referenced that moment in a video posted on Instagram, in which he worked with Liberty Soup Run, a non-profit helping to bring supplies to homeless people in Ireland.
At one point in the video, McGregor sits on the ground next to someone they’re helping. The position reminded him of his time sitting injured inside the cage.
Conor McGregor stays active with charity work and new media projects
This is not the first time McGregor has supported the Liberty Soup Run, especially around the holidays, as he has made it a bit of a tradition to lend a hand when he can.
However, charity work is not the only thing keeping him busy ahead of his potential return to the Octagon. The Irishman has also taken on a new role in the media world.
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) president David Feldman recently announced that McGregor will be hosting their upcoming docu-series, “World’s Baddest Man.”
He revealed: “We will search the world. We’re going all over the globe to find who will be named the World’s Baddest Man. The docu-series will follow these fighters throughout the journey.”
