Conor McGregor is preparing for a UFC comeback in 2026 and has just launched a new business venture with Donald Trump Jr.

The former double champion has been out of the octagon since suffering a serious ankle injury over four years ago, but he is now focused on making his way back.

When President Donald Trump revealed that the UFC would be staging an event at the White House in 2026, McGregor was quick to throw his name into the mix.

Now back in training and officially part of the UFC drug-testing pool again, there is real momentum building behind his comeback plans.

While fans still have a bit of a wait ahead of them before seeing him compete again, all signs are pointing to him stepping back into action next year.

Even while away from the Octagon, McGregor has kept busy, getting involved in a range of different ventures outside of fighting.

One project taking up a significant amount of his time is his campaign for the Irish presidency. McGregor recently announced he is running for office, claiming he is going to be the “fittest president in history”.

In what appears to be an effort to boost his profile even further, McGregor has now revealed a new business partnership with Donald Trump Jr.

“Amazing news! Welcome aboard my friend, and now business partner Donald Trump Jr, to our highly skilled team at MMA.Inc.

“As the sport of mixed martial arts has grown exponentially over the last decade, so too has the interest and curiosity to train martial arts.

“My career successes and everything I have created is rooted in the practices and discipline I forged as a lifelong martial artist.

“At MMA.Inc we are relentlessly focused on converting MMA fandom into participation, driving new students and revenue to the coaches, gyms and small businesses that are the heart and soul of this global sport.

“With a business powerhouse like Don Jr joining our team, we are set to amplify our message and accelerate our commercialism like never before! The Trump’s and McGregor’s, a truly iconic team! Ireland and America’s deeply rooted relations will be stronger than ever under my tenure, Ireland!”

McGregor recently linked up with Elon Musk

McGregor continues to keep company with influential figures, most recently sharing images of a FaceTime call with Elon Musk.

While the details of their conversation were not revealed, it is worth noting that Musk had previously been involved in Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, and McGregor is preparing for his own political ambitions.
