Speaking on the Premier League’s YouTube channel, Conor Gallagher has been waxing-lyrical about Trent Alexander-Arnold and his passing abilities.
The Crystal Palace star was tasked with creating an ‘ultimate teammate’ picking attributes from six players to create the perfect footballer, but the catch was that he had to pick young players only.
When it came to passing, Gallagher knew exactly who he was choosing, and he picked Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold.
What’s been said about Alexander-Arnold?
Gallagher was full of praise for the Liverpool ace.
“Trent is still under 23 isn’t he? He’s there. I think it speaks for itself, everybody knows that he’s one of the best passers in the league, maybe in the world you could say, so definitely. You can’t give him too much time on the ball, otherwise he’s going to pick a nice pass, so you just have to press him as much as you can,” Gallagher said.

Best passer in the league
Gallagher says that Alexander-Arnold is one of the best passers in the league, and he’s not wrong.
The fact that the defender tops the assist charts this season tells you all you need to know, but his passing range is about so much more than just setting up goals.
Whether or not it’s long diagonal balls, brilliant crosses or deliveries from set-pieces, Alexander-Arnold has it all.
