LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND - FEBRUARY 19:Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold prepares to take a corner kick

Conor Coady has revealed to Liverpool’s official website that Trent Alexander-Arnold is willing to spend his entire career at Anfield.

The 20-year-old burst on to the scene in 2017 and is currently one of the most exciting right-backs in Europe.

Alexander-Arnold, who has been on Liverpool’s books since 2004, played a huge role in Jurgen Klopp’s side winning the Champions League earlier this month.

The Merseyside giants have produced many one-club legends down the years, with Steven Gerrard being the most recent but, according to Coady, the young England defender is desperate to be another.

Coady, who also began his career with Liverpool before being sold by Brendan Rodgers in 2014, told the club’s official website: “It’s incredible. People have to realise how tough it is to make it at such a big club like this and realise what he has actually done.

“How he has gone about his business is absolutely brilliant. You see how much he loves Liverpool Football Club.

“I’ve heard him talk plenty of times saying he wants to go on to be Liverpool captain, he wants to spend his career at Liverpool, this is his club – and you really believe him when he says it.”

Coady helped Wolverhampton Wanderers win promotion to the Premier League in 2018 and played every single league game for Wolves last season on their return to the top flight.
