Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers spent a reported £2 million on Nikola Katic this summer.

Connor Goldson has told Rangers TV that Nikola Katic is showing promising signs of his talent in training.
Rangers signed the Croatia international on a four-year deal from Slaven Belupo earlier this summer.
Katic, who stands at 6’4, cost the Gers around £2 million according to The Scottish Sun.
That is a significant transfer fee for a defender who has never played in British football before, but potential centre-back partner Goldson, also a new recruit this summer, claims that the 21-year-old is already looking “very good” in training so far.
“Nikola is a nice person, he is quite quiet off the pitch. I know it is difficult for him coming from a different country but he has settled in well, he looks very good in training,” he told Rangers TV.

“I like the fact he wants to defend, he doesn’t like conceding goals and he is very similar to myself.”
Goldson stands at 6’3 and if new Rangers boss Steven Gerrard pairs them both together in central defence then the Ibrox club will have perhaps the biggest defence in the Premiership next term.
This is an obvious advantage in regards to aerial and physical battles, but time will tell whether the duo are mobile enough to, say, withstand the pressure that the likes of Leigh Griffiths, Moussa Dembele and Odsonne Edouard could apply for Celtic in Old Firm battles next season.
