Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers recruited Connor Goldson last week.

Connor Goldson has revealed to Rangers’ official website that he is desperate to win trophies at the club.
Rangers signed the English centre-back from Brighton & Hove Albion last week for around £3.5 million, according to The Daily Record.
The Gers haven’t won a trophy since returning to top-flight football in 2016, with Steven Gerrard the third manager to take the reins at Ibrox since Mark Warburton was sacked in March, 2017.
And the 25-year-old stalwart said to Rangers’ official website that he has told Gerrard that he is determined to help end the club’s drought in regards to silverware

He said: “It is more team targets that interest me. I want to win things and I have always been in teams that have won things.
“That is a reason for coming here. I’ve said to the manager – I don’t want to come here and just play good football and not win things.
“I want to come here and win trophies, and I think that’s what the fans are craving. They are craving success and we need to build a team is able to give them that.”
Gerrard will be judged on what he wins at Rangers, because winning anything would be an indication that he has broken Celtic’s dominance to some extent.
The Hoops have swept all before them in the Scottish game since Brendan Rodgers took over two years ago, having led Celtic to back-to-back domestic trebles, and if Gerrard can win anything next term then it would be a very, very good start.
