Rangers defender Connor Goldson has compared his Ibrox teammate and Nottingham Forest-owned youngster Joe Worrall to Leicester City’s Harry Maguire.

Goldson has been impressed with fellow defender and Rangers teammate Worrall, and has spoken highly of the 21-year-old defender.
The England Under-21 international joined Rangers on loan from Forest in the Championship in England in the summer transfer window.
Defender Goldson, 25, joined Rangers from Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window for a transfer fee reported by The Glasgow Evening Times to be worth £3 million.
Maguire is one of the defenders in the Premier League, and the 25-year-old central defender – who earns £80,000 per week as salary, according to The Sun – was superb for England at the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia in the summer.
The 25-year-old centre-back has been on the books of Leicester since the summer of 2017 when he joined from Hull City for an initial transfer fee reported by The Telegraph to be worth £12 million.

Goldson told The Scottish Sun about Worrall: “He looks and reminds me of Harry Maguire.
“The way Joe plays, the way he runs, and the shape of him is like Maguire. He is very good and he is going to be a top player, you can see that.
“The way Joe defends, he is strong, he can move and in the air and on the floor he is very good. Joe is going to be a great player for us.”
