The attacking midfielder provided an assist as England U20’s beat their Italian counterparts 2-1
Queens Park Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to praise young starlet Eberechi Eze, who made his international bow for England U20’s on Thursday evening.
Paul Simpson’s side ran out 2-1 winners against their Italian rivals and Eze even managed to lay on an assist for Arsenal striker Eddie Nkeitah, who put the young Lions 1-0 up on the 20 minute mark.
QPR’s no.10 played very well and took to his new surroundings fairly naturally, with supporters of the west Londoners excited to see their prized asset in action.
Eze almost provided a second assist with the score at 2-1 before he was subbed late on, and the 20-year-old has surely done enough to start on Monday against the Czech Republic.

Much has been made of Eze’s introduction into Simpson’s side and fans will be eager to see how he performs in future outings. The attacking midfielder has an abundance of raw talent and an exciting future surely awaits.
For now, Eze will need to remain grounded and continue his development for both club and country but R’s supporters have spoken with pride at Eze’s England debut.
