The Belgian winger is seemingly on his way out of Everton, but reports linking him with Lille are mixed.

It is being reported by the Daily Mail this week that Everton are set to flog their Belgian attacker to Lille.

They report that the 20-year-old is set to join the club after an ineffective stint at Goodison Park.

However, the Liverpool Echo report slightly differently. They claim that Everton have received no firm offers for the player and are instead awaiting them. The Belgian is up for sale but the club have received no official bid for the player, despite the apparent interest of Lille and their Ligue 1 rivals Marseille.

Henen joined the club from Olympiakos after an initial loan deal back in 2015. He was signed as a potential first-team prospect but has failed to develop in his 18 months with the club.

Last term he spent time out on loan at Fleetwood Town but that was not successful either and Henen appears to have no future at Everton.

His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2018 so Everton will be looking to sell him now rather than have him hang around the club for another 18 months.

Time will tell if the interest from France picks up merit in the coming weeks.
