Leeds United continue to be linked with Rodrigo De Paul – but there are some conflicting reports emerging this weekend.
The Udinese star has been touted for a move to Elland Road for almost a month now, with Leeds pursuing a big-money deal.
De Paul plays as a central midfielder or number 10, offering creativity and great technical ability having posting great numbers for key passes and dribbles in Serie A last season.
So, let’s dig into this weekend’s reports; Italian newspaper La Repubblica report that De Paul has been courted by the biggest clubs in Italy, but he has chosen to play for Leeds.
Inter Milan, Napoli, Juventus and AC Milan allegedly wanted De Paul but this report claims that he is nearing a move to Elland Road.
This would understandably be hugely exciting for Leeds fans, but it may not actually be the case.

The Telegraph claim that Leeds’ move for De Paul has stalled, and they’re now moving for Atalanta playmaker Ruslan Malinovskyi instead.
English and Italian media appear to be on different pages here, but Leeds seem to be looking to Italy for a creative force – and time will tell whether it’s De Paul or Malinovskiy.
