Rangers have decisions to make in attack – and Florian Kamberi’s future seems a little muddled judging by reports today.
Kamberi, 25, joined Rangers on loan from Hibernian back on deadline day in January, and notched one goal and two assists in nine games for the Gers.
Rangers must now decide whether to pursue Kamberi permanently, as he would predominantly be cover for Alfredo Morelos and Jermain Defoe.
The Sunday Post originally reported this morning that Rangers have struck an agreement with Hibernian to extend Kamberi’s loan into August in order for him to play in the Europa League.
However, The Scottish Sun claim Rangers have denied that such an agreement has taken place, and claim that talks haven’t even taken place.
Those conflicting reports make it difficult to see what the future holds for Kamberi, and The Sunday Post’s report added a line about another striker.

That report stated that Celtic and Rangers could be interested in landing Steven Fletcher, who is set to leave Sheffield Wednesday on a free transfer.
It’s tough to gauge whether that was genuine information or just putting two and two together for the Scotland international, who could receive interest back home.
The 33-year-old could be a bargain addition for somebody, but we’re ruling it unlikely that either of the Old Firm sides will go for him given his age – especially Rangers, who already have a veteran in Defoe.
