Arsenal fans believe that both Gabriel Martinelli and Folarin Balogun could both depart after Mikel Arteta omitted the pair from his starting line-up last night.
Martinelli’s continued absence from Arsenal’s starting line-up has baffled Gunners fans for some time now.
The youngster has not started a game for Arsenal since January, despite Arteta’s side hardly being in flying form.
Martinelli did at least get just over 20 minutes last night against Slavia Prague, which was more than could be said about Balogun.
The Arsenal prospect was not even included in Arteta’s match-day squad whatsoever, despite the Gunners boss being able to name an extended bench.

Balogun’s contract at Arsenal is due to expire at the end of the season.
And there are plenty of supporters who now fear that two of their prized prospects could depart in the summer, which would be a bitter blow.
In truth Balogun’s departure looks far more likely that Martinelli’s.
Arsenal will surely want to build around the Brazilian in the future, but his lack of game time must be becoming a real frustration.
And it is surely only a matter of time before Arteta has to put the teenager into Arsenal’s starting line-up, given the poor quality of performance from others in the side.
