Manchester City stand between Wolverhampton Wanderers and a quarter final place.

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed his team to face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup.

The Championship leaders have made nine changes ahead of their encounter with their Premier League counterparts, who stand between themselves and a quarter final place.

Only centre-backs Danny Batth and Conor Coady remain from Saturday’s 3-2 win against Preston North End, with Ryan Bennett, Kortney Hause and Ruben Vinagre making up Wolves’ defensive line, in front of goalkeeper Will Norris.

Jack Price, who signed a new contract at Molineux earlier on Tuesday, partners Alfred N’Diaye in midfield, with Ben Marshall, Bright Enobakhare and Helder Costa selected in attack.

City also make nine changes, with Sergio Aguero and Bernardo Silva keeping their places.
