Wolverhampton Wanderers will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League this afternoon when they take on Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Wanderers will head into the match against Brighton away from home at the American Express Community Stadium on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Watford at the Molineux Stadium.

Nuno’s side are ninth in the Premier League table at the moment with 15 points from nine matches.

Meanwhile, Brighton currently find themselves 12th in the standings with 11 points from nine matches.

The Seagulls are six points above the Premier League relegation zone and are doing quite well at the moment.

Meanwhile, Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson has suggested on BBC Sport that Wolves should be aiming for a top-10 finish in the Premier League this season.

The Wanderers won automatic promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.

Lawrenson wrote on BBC Sport: “After going six games unbeaten, Wolves slipped up at home to Watford last weekend, which surprised a lot of people – myself included.

“But it was a reminder of where Wolves are at, as a promoted team. Their early performances have been impressive and probably got some of their fans thinking they can push for the top six, but a top-10 finish is a more realistic target.”
