West Ham United host Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup this evening.

West Ham United starting line-up: Adrian; Fredericks, Diop, Ogbonna, Masuaku; Obiang, Rice; Antonio, Anderson, Diangana; Hernandez.

West Ham United substitutes: Fabianski, Balbuena, Coventry, Snodgrass, Powell, Arnautovic, Perez.

Tottenham Hotspur starting line-up: Gazzaniga; Aurier, Sanchez, Foyth, Walker-Peters; Wanyama, Winks; Eriksen, Son, Alli; Llorente.

Tottenham Hotspur substitutes: Vorm, Eyoma, Marsh, Skipp, Sissoko, Nkoudou, Moura.

West Ham head into the game having drawn 1-1 away at Leicester City on Saturday afternoon, and will look to advance in the competition having already seen off AFC Wimbledon and Macclesfield Town.

Tottenham are their first serious test in this year’s Carabao Cup, and boss Manuel Pellegrini has named a strong line-up for the game, even with Adrian coming in for Lukasz Fabianski in goal.

Ex-Spurs man Ryan Fredericks starts at right back, with Angelo Ogbonna joining Issa Diop and Arthur Masuaku in the back four, whilst Declan Rice and Pedro Obiang will play in holding midfield.

Felipe Anderson appears to be playing as a number 10 tonight, with Michail Antonio and Grady Diangana out wide, supporting lone striker Javier Hernandez.

That means that Marko Arnautovic is back on the bench after missing the trip to Leicester through injury, and is alongside fellow substitutes Fabianski, Fabian Balbuena, Conor Coventry, Robert Snodgrass, Joe Powell and Lucas Perez.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have beaten Watford to make it to this stage, and are back in action again having only taken on Manchester City on Monday night in a 1-0 home defeat.

Mauricio Pochettino’s squad is being stretched by injuries and a fixture pile-up, with a rotated team unsurprisingly named for tonight’s visit to the London Stadium, starting with Paulo Gazzaniga in goal.

Serge Aurier, Juan Foyth and Kyle Walker-Peters come into defence alongside Davinson Sanchez, whilst Victor Wanyama partners Harry Winks in central midfield.

Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Son Heung-min all start having been named on the bench against Manchester City, with Fernando Llorente leading the line.

Harry Kane isn’t in the squad at all having been rested, leading Michel Vorm, TJ Eyoma, George Marsh, Oliver Skipp, Moussa Sissoko, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Lucas Moura.
