West Ham United can put a dent in Tottenham Hotspur’s title bid this evening.
West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic and Tottenham Hotspur counterpart Mauricio Pochettino
Two games to save his job was the line coming out of various media outlets this week about West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic.
If true, the Croatian has a chance to hang on to his employment in style by beating London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the two sides’ first ever meeting at the Hammers’ new home, and denting their title bid.
Tottenham, though, are a team in form, winning nine straight Premier League fixtures since February’s defeat against Liverpool.
Despite being 10 points behind leaders Chelsea at one stage, the gap now stands at four points and Friday’s encounter gives Spurs a chance to crank up the heat.
A win for Mauricio Pochettino’s side would give the Blues, who don’t play until Monday, three whole days to stew.
