Here is how Watford and Liverpool will line up this weekend:
Watford welcome Liverpool to Vicarage Road this afternoon with just one point and two places separating the teams in the Premier League table.
Given the pre-season predictions of many, it is somewhat surprising that the Hornets are ahead in that particular race, with Quique Sanchez Flores’s side just four points outside the European places heading towards 2016.
There is still plenty of football to be played, but it has been an impressive start following Watford’s return to the top flight and they will be hoping to keep that going against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side.
The Reds drew 2-2 with West Bromwich Albion last time out and they have now gone three games without a victory since their 6-1 thrashing of Southampton in the Capital One Cup.
As for Watford, they are on an excellent run, winning their last three games against Aston Villa, Norwich City and Sunderland, so they will be quietly confident of getting one over Liverpool this afternoon.
