Rangers starting XI: McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Balogun, Bassey; Jack, Lundstram; Aribo, Arfield, Kent; Morelos.

Rangers substitutes: McLaughlin, Barisic, Davis, Ramsey, Kamara, Sands, Diallo, Roofe, Sakala.

Rangers are back in action this afternoon as they host Heart of Midlothian, desperate to hit back after their 3-0 defeat at the hands of Celtic.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s finds himself under pressure after that defeat and needs to grab a result today.

Allan McGregor starts in goal for Rangers this afternoon, but Borna Barisic has been dropped to the bench after a horror show at Celtic.

Calvin Bassey moves over to left back, with Leon Balogun coming in to join Connor Goldson and James Tavernier in the back four.

Ryan Jack and John Lundstram both come into the side with Glen Kamara dropped down to the bench.

Joe Aribo appears to be playing in from the right flank today, joining Scott Arfield and Ryan Kent in supporting Alfredo Morelos up top.

That means Manchester United loanee Amad Diallo has been dropped to the bench having been substituted at half time against Celtic.

The big news is that Aaron Ramsey does make the squad having joined Rangers on deadline day, but Vna Bronckhorst has only put him on the bench.

Fellow January addition James Sands is on the bench, joining Barisic, Jon McLaughlin, Steven Davis, Kamara, Diallo, Kemar Roofe and Fashion Sakala.
