The Europa League play-off round draw has taken place in Switzerland. Who will Spurs and Hull face?
The Champions League draw has taken place in Nyon – with Arsenal facing Besiktas and Celtic taking on NK Maribor in the play-off round of qualifying for the Champions League Group Stage.
But what about Arsenal’s bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur and their FA Cup final opponents Hull City?
Hull overcame FC Trencin in the third qualifying round to make it to this stage last night, their first ever European campaign. Tottenham are of course regulars in the second tier European tournament – and are hoping to finally go all the way under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Both Hull and Tottenham are seeded for the competition draw so will not likely face difficult opposition. Teams to watch out for on the unseeded side include the likes of dangerous Croatian outfit Hajduk Split, Russian side Krasnodar, Dutch Cup winners PEC Zwolle and Switzerland’s Grasshoppers of Zurich
Meanwhile a game against Petrolul Ploiesti would see them come up against an Adrian Mutu inspired outfit.
Here is who both Premier League sides will face…
AEL Limassol v Tottenham Hotspur
Sporting Lokeren v Hull City
