Tottenham Hotspur substitutes: Whiteman, Foyth, Walker-Peters, Dier, Dembele, Son, Llorente.

Watford starting line-up: Gomes; Navarro, Cathcart, Mariappa, Masina; Wilmot, Chalobah; Femenia, Quina, Sema; Success.

Watford substitutes: Dahlberg, Kabasele, Holebas, Hughes, Capoue, Pereyra, Gray.

Spurs are ‘at home’ to Watford tonight as they are forced to play the game at Milton Keynes Dons’ home of Stadium MK, with Wembley unavailable tonight and Tottenham’s new stadium still not ready.

It’s a strange night as a result, and Mauricio Pochettino has made a number of changes to his side from Saturday’s 2-1 win at Brighton and Hove Albion, though Paulo Gazzaniga starts in goal.

Serge Aurier comes in for Kieran Trippier at right back, with Davinson Sanchez stepping in for Jan Vertonghen alongside Toby Alderweireld, and Ben Daives starts at left back.

Harry Winks partners Victor Wanyama in midfield, whilst Dele Alli captains the side and will support Lucas Moura alongside Moussa Sissoko and Erik Lamela.

Fernando Llorente is only on the bench, alongside Alfie Whiteman, Juan Foyth, Kyle Walker-Peters, Eric Dier, Mousa Dembele and Son Heung-min.

After six games in a row without a making a change to his Premier League side, Javi Gracia has made 10 changes to his Watford side tonight, with ex-Spurs goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes starting ahead of Ben Foster in goal.

Summer signings Marc Navarro and Adam Masina start in the full back roles, whilst Craig Cathcart is the only player to keep his place from Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Fulham, partnering Adrian Mariappa in defence.

Ben Wilmot partners Nathaniel Chalobah start in midfield, with Kiko Femenia, Domingos Quina and Ken Sema supporting Isaac Success in the final third.

Former Tottenham midfielder Etienne Capoue is on the bench, alongside Pontus Dahlberg, Christian Kabasele, Jose Holebas, Will Hughes, Roberto Pereyra and Andre Gray.
