Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa return to Premier League action this afternoon as they lock horns in the Premier League.

Ange Postecoglou is looking to get back to winning ways after suffering two straight defeats before the international break.

Spurs have a number of absences to deal with but Postecoglou can still call upon Italian stopper Guglielmo Vicario in goal.

Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie are the full backs with Emerson Royal and Ben Davies forming a rather unconventional centre back pairing.

Rodrigo Bentancur makes his first Premier League start since February, partnering Giovani Lo Celso in midfield.

Bryan Gil will seemingly play as a number 10 with Dejan Kulusevski and Brennan Johnson out wide.

Son Heung-min leads the line with Tottenham struggling for bodies amid a staggering number of injuries and suspensions.

Youngsters Jamie Donley and Alfie Dorrington are on the bench, joining Fraser Forster, Brandon Austin, Eric Dier, Oliver Skipp, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg and Alejo Veliz.

Aston Villa have been in fine form of late, winning six of their last eight Premier League games.

Unai Emery will hope for another win today and goes with former Arsenal stopper Emiliano Martinez in goal.

Ezri Konsa, Diego Carlos and Pau Torres all start in what could look like a back three for Villa today.

Matty Cash and Lucas Digne would then be the wing backs with Douglas Luiz, Boubacar Kamara and John McGinn in midfield.

Moussa Diaby will then partner Ollie Watkins up top with Jhon Duran on the bench this afternoon.

Alternatively, Cash will push up into a wide midfield role with Konsa at right back, as Emery has utilised before.

Former Tottenham man Clement Lenglet is also on the bench, joining Robin Olsen, Youri Tielemans, Alex Moreno, Leon Bailey, Leander Dendoncker, Jacob Ramsey and Tim Iroegbunam.
