Tottenham Hotspur are back in action tonight as they take on League Two side Tranmere Rovers in the Third Round of the FA Cup.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men beat Cardiff City on New Year’s Day in the Premier League, and now head into their first FA Cup game of the season with a trip to the Wirral.
Unsurprisingly, Pochettino has rotated some of his side for tonight’s game, with Paulo Gazzaniga given the nod in goal ahead of Hugo Lloris.
Serge Aurier and Kyle Walker-Peters appear to be lining up as wing backs in a peculiar formation, with Juan Foyth, Davinson Sanchez, Ben Davies named as centre backs.
Dele Alli captains the side and appears to be in a deep-lying midfield role alongside Oliver Skipp, with Moussa Sissoko only named on the bench this evening.
Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura both start, and will be supporting Fernando Llorente in attack with Harry Kane also named as a substitute tonight.
Kane and Sissoko are joined on the bench by Michel Vorm, Toby Alderweireld, Timothy Eyoma, George Marsh and Christian Eriksen at Prenton Park.
