Tottenham Hotspur take on PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League tonight.

Tottenham Hotspur starting line-up: Lloris; Trippier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies; Dier, Dembele; Eriksen, Lucas, Son; Kane.

Tottenham Hotspur substitutes: Vorm, Aurier, Sissoko, Wanyama, Winks, Lamela, Llorente

Tottenham head into the game having beaten West Ham United 1-0 in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, and are desperately looking to kickstart their Champions League campaign.

Defeats to inter Milan and Barcelona in their first two group games have left Spurs with a mountain to climb in order to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.

PSV pose something of a banana skin, but sit bottom of the group with no points and just one goal scorer, meaning Spurs must look to go for the win and claim all three points.

Hugo Lloris starts in goal after a superb display against West Ham and captains the side, behind a back four of Kieran Trippier, Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez and Ben Davies.

Mousa Dembele comes back into the side in order to partner Eric Dier in holding midfield, with Christian Eriksen handed a start in attacking midfield having recovered from injury.

Lucas Moura and Son Heung-min will feature out wide, supporting lone striker Harry Kane, as Saturday’s match-winner Erik Lamela has to settle for a place on the bench.

Lamela is joined by fellow substitutes Michel Vorm, Serge Aurier, Moussa Sissoko, Victor Wanyama, Harry Winks and Fernando Llorente.
