Tottenham Hotspur take on Monaco in the Champions League this evening.

Tottenham starting line-up: Lloris; Trippier, Dier, Wimmer, Rose; Wanyama, Dembele; Winks, Alli, Son; Kane.

Tottenham substitutes: Vorm, Vertonghen, Walker, Sissoko, Nkoudou, Eriksen, Janssen.

Tottenham Hotspur return to Champions League action this evening as they travel to face Monaco in their penultimate group game.

Spurs lost their last Champions League game with a 1-0 home defeat to Bayer Leverkusen, and desperately need a win this evening to keep their hopes of reaching the knockout stages alive.

Saturday’s 3-2 home win over West Ham ended Tottenham’s seven-game winless run in all competitions, and manager Mauricio Pochettino will be praying for another victory this evening.

Pochettino’s team selection sees young midfielder Harry Winks start again having scored against West Ham, whilst there are a host of changes as Kieran Trippier and Kevin Wimmer come in for Kyle Walker and Jan Vertonghen in defence.

Heung-min Son and Dele Alli both start having come on as substitutes against West Ham, and they’ll support lone striker Harry Kane, who has been passed fit to play as he works his way back from injury.

Christian Eriksen has been dropped to the bench after another disappointing performance against West Ham, whilst Walker and Vertonghen also join him as substitutes this evening.

Michel Vorm, Moussa Sissoko, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Vincent Janssen are also at Pochettino’s disposal this evening, with Ben Davies, Toby Alderweireld and Erik Lamela still out injured.
