Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to return to winning ways this evening when they take on West Ham United in the Premier League.
Spurs will head into the London derby against West Ham on the back of a 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the league last Friday evening.
Jose Mourinho’s side are eighth in the league table at the moment with 42 points from 30 matches, as many as nine points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.
Tottenham – whose manager Mourinho mentioned in the pre-match press conference club owner Joe Lewis and chairman Daniel Levy’s ambition, as quoted in Football.London – have a tough task of finishing in the Champions League places, but there are enough games left this season for the North London outfit to do just that.
However, Spurs will have to go on a winning run, starting with this evening’s match against West Ham.
Meanwhile, the Hammers currently find themselves 17th in the Premier League table with 27 points from 30 matches.
David Moyes’s side are level on points with third-from-bottom Bournemouth and are in real danger of going down to the Championship at the end of the season.
West Ham will head into the match against Spurs on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium in the league.
This is how Tottenham and West Ham will line up at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League this evening:
