Tottenham Hotspur are back in action this evening as the Ryan Mason era begins – even if only lasts a few weeks.
Jose Mourinho has lost his job as Spurs boss this week, and 29-year-old Mason has been given the reins until the end of the season.
Mason has gone with Hugo Lloris in goal, behind a back four of Serge Aurier, Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier and Sergio Reguilon.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is joined in midfield by Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele, a trio that Jose Mourinho was often reluctant to use together.
Gareth Bale starts on the right with Lucas Moura down the left, whilst Son Heung-min leads the line in the absence of the injured Harry Kane.
Dele Alli is still on the bench despite Mourinho’s exit, and is joined by Joe Hart, Davinson Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga, Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko, Erik Lamela, Steven Bergwijn and Carlos Vinicius.
Southampton have Alex McCarthy between the sticks, whilst ex-Spurs man Kyle Walker-Peters starts at right back.
Jan Bednarek and Spurs-linked Jannik Vestergaard are the centre back pairing, with Mohammed Salisu at left back.
James Ward-Prowse and Stuart Armstrong feature in central midfield, with Nathan Tella and Theo Walcott supporting Che Adams and Danny Ings in attack.
Liverpool loanee Takumi Minamino is only on the bench tonight, alongside Fraser Forster, Jack Stephens, Ibrahima Diallo, Will Ferry, Alexander Jankewitz, Nathan Redmond, Moussa Djenepo and Dan Nlundulu.
