Spurs will head into the tie at Wembley Stadium on the back of a 7-0 hammering of Tranmere Rovers away from home in the third round of the FA Cup.
Mauricio Pochettno’s side are in good form at the moment, and the North London outfit will be confident of winning against Chelsea this evening.
For Tottenham, the EFL Cup is a genuine chance of winning a major trophy this season, and fans will love it if they do so.
Chelsea, though, will have ambitions of winning the competition at all, and the Blues will want to at least draw the first leg.
Maurizio Sarri’s side will head into this evening’s match on the back of a 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge in the third round of the FA Cup.
