Here is how Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace will line up this afternoon:

Tottenham Hotspur welcome Crystal Palace to Wembley this afternoon for their latest Premier League clash.

Spurs will be buzzing after their 3-1 win against Real Madrid in the Champions League last week, but they will need to be fully focused on the job in hand in order to overcome a Palace side desperate for every available point.

Tottenham are currently third in the Premier League table with 20 points from their first 10 matches and, with Chelsea and Manchester United going head-to-head today, there is a chance for Spurs to move ahead of Jose Mourinho’s side depending on how the game goes at Stamford Bridge.

Palace are struggling at the other end of the table and currently find themselves bottom of the pile, five points from safety with the pressure on new boss Roy Hodgson to turn things round sooner rather than later.

Palace’s late fightback against West Ham united last time out was a step in the right direction, and it was also a warning for Tottenham to ensure they are focused from the first minute to the last.

Tottenham should have too much for Palace this afternoon but it will be interesting to see how things play out.
