Arsenal will want to beware Real Madrid and Bayern Munich…
Arsenal qualified for the knockout rounds of the Champions League as group winners this week, marking a rare change in fortunes.
In recent seasons they have not been past the last 16, and the theory is that by finishing top of their group ahead of PSG, they have ensured an easier draw.

Looking at the list of possible teams they could land in Friday’s draw, ‘easy’ is not exactly an apt description.
The Gunners are unable to draw Premier League rivals Manchester City nor group competitors PSG, reducing the number of teams to six.
Here they are…
Benfica
Football Soccer – Benfica v Napoli – UEFA Champions League group stage
Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich v Atletico Madrid – UEFA Champions League
Bayer Leverkusen
Bayer 04 Leverkusen v AS Monaco – UEFA Champions League
Real Madrid
Football Soccer – Real Madrid v Borussia Dortmund
Porto
FC Porto
Sevilla
Football Soccer – Olympique Lyon v Sevilla
There are no straight forward draws for the Gunners, although Bayer Leverkusen are probably the most favourable team they could get.
The nightmare draws would be against either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich, which would make Arsenal instantly wish they finished second in their group instead.
