Stoke City host Liverpool at the Bet 365 Stadium on Wednesday.

Liverpool will climb at least one place to fifth, and possibly break into the top four, if they beat Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium on Wednesday.
But the Reds will have to do so without their 15-goal top scorer Mohamed Salah – at least from the start – who is dropped to the bench. Although they do welcome Sadio Mane back to their starting lineup.
Mane has scored or assisted eight goals in 12 starts for Liverpool this season, but was rested for Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea, in which Salah scored.
Roberto Firmino – nine goals and five assists – also returns, as do Dominic Solanke, Dejan Lovren, Georginio Wijnaldum and Emre Can.
Stoke, in contrast, could find themselves sucked further towards the relegation places after winning only one of their last six league matches.
However, the 16th-place Potters cannot end Wednesday night inside the bottom three.
