The Bluebirds head into this evening’s clash with Spurs on the back of a decent run of form that has seen them win two and draw one of their last five Premier League games, and they currently sit in 16th spot in the table, three points clear of the drop zone.
Spurs, meanwhile, will be a little flat, having lost last time out at home to Wolves, and with nine points now separating themselves and league leaders Liverpool.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men will be desperate to bounce back immediately, however, and will head into their game with Cardiff as massive favourites.
Neil Warnock’s side can climb as high as 14th in the table with a win today, but they will surely settle for a point.
Tottenham, meanwhile, can move back above Manchester City into second place with a victory, although they would have played a game more than Pep Guardiola’s side.
